Community Report: Humanity May Be a 'Domestic Project Shell,' Palm Print Data Collection Raises Privacy Concerns
According to Foresight News, users on platform X such as SCoin (@ LianFang _), AB Kuai. Dong (@_FOR AB), and others have reported that Humanity Protocol (H) may be a 'domestic project shell.' The APP code repository still contains images from Shenzhen access control manufacturer Zhangteng Information, raising doubts about its authenticity. Netizens claim that the activity on its social platforms is mostly orchestrated by the project's small accounts, casting doubt on actual user engagement.
AB Kuai.Dong indicates that those who have previously been certified by Humanity should be cautious. Zhangteng Information is backed by an outsourcing company in Shanghai that specializes in a full suite of identity verification outsourcing. Additionally, whistleblower SCoin claims that the project collects a large amount of users' palm print information, raising concerns about privacy and security, and questioning the unclear use of this data. The current project team has not yet responded formally to this.
