This week #Ethereum managed to surpass two records: there are over 35 million ETH staked, amounting to approximately 89 billion dollars, which adds to about 22.8 million ETH held by long-term strategy HODLers, reflecting investors' confidence in the second largest cryptocurrency in the world.
Massive accumulation and dominance of staking According to the latest data, in the first half of June, Ethereum users deposited over 500,000 ETH into staking contracts, increasing the total volume to 35 million ETH in this investment modality, which represents 29% of the cryptocurrency in circulation (of around 120.72 million ETH).
On their part, Ethereum whales, investors with balances between 1,000 and 10,000 ETH, have added more than 800,000 ETH daily over the last 7 days, which according to several market analysts could indicate an imminent bullish streak in its price.
From the last week, notable are the transactions recorded on June 12, the day when record purchases of 871,000 ETH were made, being so far the day with the highest acquisitions in 2025. These addresses now control more than 16 million ETH, valued at USD 40 billion.
