President Trump took to Truth Social on June 21, 2025, stating:
“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space...NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!”
He emphasized the use of a “full payload of BOMBS” on the primary site at Fordow and praised the military: “There is not another military in the World that could have done this”
Trump added that Israeli safety had improved as a result .
This marks a significant escalation, with the U.S. explicitly joining Israel’s air campaign by striking Iran’s underground nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. B‑2 stealth bombers were reportedly deployed for the mission.
Iran’s Foreign Minister has warned that direct U.S. involvement could be “very, very dangerous for everybody” and regional tensions remain very high as both sides brace for potential escalation.
