The market suddenly dropped again; how should I put it? It's not exactly unexpected, after all, if the resistance level doesn't rise, it will definitely go down. A slight further drop is also within reason. Currently, Bitcoin has slightly fallen below 105,000, and Ethereum is temporarily hovering around 2,400 USD. In terms of price, it's still in a strong range, but with this, I wonder when Bitcoin's 110,000 resistance will be broken. The only thing I can think of is that a new high in the U.S. stock market could drive Bitcoin up.
The performance in the U.S. stock market is relatively strong, mainly because it has not only pulled the points up from the last tariff crisis low but also the conflict involving Iran hasn't affected the market at all. This shows that market confidence has recovered quite well. If we consider what the strongest asset has been over the past decade, without a doubt, it's the U.S. stock market and Bitcoin. This strong endorsement gives everyone more confidence to buy in or even hold long-term, which is the assurance for price stability.
Recently, in the comments, people are concerned about some relatively mainstream coins they hold and whether there is hope in the future market. In my view, besides a few major coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and BNB, I only recognize other mainstream coins related to DeFi, such as OP (L2) and SSV (reStake) mentioned in the past couple of days, which are part of the Ethereum ecosystem. As long as their market cap and data are relatively good, the future opportunities are quite significant. Of course, I strongly advise against investing too much in these targets or having an overly concentrated portfolio in mainstream assets.
To be honest, this market feels a bit boring; it seems to have continued for another 1-2 months of dullness unconsciously. Coupled with the recent hot weather, there aren't many good places for short-term outings. The good news is that time is still on the bulls' side because June is just approaching its end, theoretically leaving about half a year for the market to continue to perform. Currently, I have no hope for altcoins; I just hope Ethereum can lead the mainstream coins for a surge.
