In a surprising move that could cause a shift in its adoption, the Cardano (ADA) network has been quietly integrated into the beta version of the Brave wallet, opening a direct window to over 88 million active users monthly worldwide.

The new update was spotted on June 19 via a Cardano-focused account on platform X, where a screenshot showed the activation of ADA within the browser wallet interface. This comes after a previous official announcement in May from Input Output and Brave Software, in which they confirmed plans to fully integrate Cardano support within the browser's built-in wallet.

This integration allows users to send, receive, and trade ADA, as well as interact with decentralized applications, participate in governance, and support tokens of related projects like Midnight’s NIGHT—all through the Brave environment known for its focus on privacy.

Despite the importance of this step, its impact on the price has not yet been reflected, as Cardano is trading at $0.6002 with a daily decline of 0.5%, amidst a drop in trading volume of 47.3%, reaching only $360 million.

Technical analysis shows continued selling pressure, as ADA trades below all major moving averages, with the relative strength index nearing the oversold zone without clear signs of a near reversal.

If the price fails to hold above the $0.59 level, Cardano may face a new downward wave towards $0.55.
