By the end of 2024, the global public debt will exceed 100 trillion dollars, according to the International Monetary Fund.

The United States' debts make up the largest portion of this debt, reaching 36 trillion dollars in 2024, which is equivalent to 34.6% of the global total, and in this year it exceeded 37 trillion dollars, based on data from the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
