The cryptocurrency market dropped 3% today, with the total market cap falling to $3 trillion. Bitcoin fell to $103,000, a decrease of 1.1%. Major altcoins like Ethereum, Solana, and Ripple also dropped by as much as 3%, while meme coins like Dogecoin and Litecoin continued to decline.
Top analyst Crypto Capo recently issued a strong warning, stating: "We haven't seen anything yet." He cautioned that while Bitcoin remains above $100,000, altcoins have significantly declined.
He pointed out two key support levels for Bitcoin: first at $93,000, and then a major support level between $60,000 and $70,000. This would mean a drop of 35-45% in Bitcoin's price from current levels. The analyst indicated that in the event of a complete capitulation or a 'black swan' event, Ethereum's price could fall by 45-55%, reaching the $1,000-$1,200 range. Altcoins are expected to decline by an average of 50-70%, while meme coins could be hit the hardest. The analyst believes that these coins could see declines of up to 60-80%.
