13 million tokens #RLUSD were minted by #Ripple : details $XRP

The company Blockchain Ripple issued 14 million additional tokens on the Ethereum blockchain, according to an update on Friday.

This is the largest number of tokens minted in a single day since April 25, according to the Ripple Stablecoin Tracker.

So far, Ripple has minted a total of 42 million RLUSD in June. Notably, all of these tokens were created on Ethereum instead of the XRP Ledger.

CoinGecko data shows that the total market capitalization of the stablecoin is now approaching $450 million.

As mentioned, RLUSD has expanded its global presence by obtaining key regulatory approval in Dubai earlier this month.

Ondo Finance has also launched U.S. Treasury bonds on the XRP Ledger, allowing qualified buyers to mint OUSG with the help of the stablecoin RLUSD.

Furthermore, Ripple has partnered with AlchemyPay to expand access to RLUSD by enabling hundreds of traditional currency payment methods such as Visa and Apple Pay.

Meanwhile, Circle recently announced that USD Coin ($USDC ), the second largest stablecoin, has added support for the XRP Ledger.
