📝 EnclaveX: Let's Achieve Both CLOB and Privacy.

Today, as a good opportunity, we will discuss the new order book format of PERP-DEX that CZ brought up last time and the topic of privacy, and how @enclavemarkets is building these elements well.

1️⃣ What is CLOB?

CLOB is a traditional financial order book method, recently contrasted with AMM and introduced into DeFi, garnering attention as a high-performance and efficient trading infrastructure. It demonstrates much superior capital efficiency and execution precision, and is increasingly adopted by PerpDEXs for the sophistication of trading levels.

The aim is to elevate the trading experience to a structurally identical level as CEX and exchanges, while eliminating the experience where traders cannot engage in fair trading through the specificity of MEV.

*MEV can be thought of as a concept similar to queue jumping, and should be viewed as an element that disrupts the order of trades and prevents fair trading.

2️⃣ Privacy Issues in Trading.

One of the characteristics arising from the meeting of CLOB and on-chain is transaction transparency, which CZ pointed out could be a double-edged sword. Whale traders and institutional investors managing large capital would not want their positions to be transparently exposed, and for Tradfi to operate on-chain, technologies like dark pools that can protect their privacy need to be introduced into Perp Dex.

There has been much debate on this issue, but I personally acknowledge the need for trading privacy to attract institutional capital for a larger market.

Looking at the recent volatility in Bitcoin related to the position of hyper-liquid whale James Wynn, and recalling the GameStop incident where prices artificially surged to expose institutional positions, it wouldn't be pleasant for institutions to have their positions exposed.

3️⃣ EnclaveX has captured both CLOB and privacy.

EnclaveX is not only a platform equipped with high-speed CLOB but has also implemented a tech stack that protects the trader's privacy through encrypted order processing using TEE.

This signifies an infrastructure capable of accepting not only general on-chain users but also institutional-grade capital, allowing it to gain an edge in the target market size compared to other CLOB-based exchanges.

4️⃣ In Conclusion

Currently, many Perp Dexs are emerging and competing with their respective technologies. Through this process, I hope better platform environments will be provided to users, and that potential customers who have not been able to enter the market will join, thus increasing the scale of on-chain user pools.
