#XSuperApp A X, by Elon Musk, is planning to launch a credit or debit card later this year as part of the billionaire's plans to transform the platform into a super app, similar to WeChat, the Chinese app that integrates messaging, payments, and shopping, according to a report from the Financial Times.
In an interview with the British newspaper, the CEO of X, Linda Yaccarino, added that users will soon be able to organize their entire financial life within the social media platform, whether by making investments or trades.
The proposal to enter the financial services market comes after the company announced the launch of X Money, a digital wallet and peer-to-peer payment service, in partnership with Visa initially. The new feature will be launched first in the United States before expanding to other markets.
