In order to unify banking systems and reconnect them between Syria and Italy, the Governor of the Central Bank of Syria, Dr. "Abdul Qader Al-Hosri", received the Italian Ambassador to Syria, Mr. "Stefano Ravagnan". Both sides stressed the importance of this pivotal step and its role in activating channels of bilateral trade, which contributes to reopening the field for resuming trade relations that will bring significant benefits to small and medium-sized enterprises and support efforts for economic recovery in Syria.
