#SwingTradingStrategy

Swing trading is about capturing short-to-medium-term price moves—not the daily chop, and not the long-term hold. On Binance, with its deep liquidity and massive choice of coins, you can craft a clean strategy that combines structure, momentum, and smart risk. Join Now

⚙️ Core Structure of the Strategy

1. ✅ Coin Selection (Filter the Noise)

Use Binance’s filtering tools and CoinMarketCap integration to narrow your universe:

Volume > $50M/day

Volatility > 3% ATR/Day

Mid to Large Cap Coins (e.g., BTC, ETH, SOL, MATIC, LINK)

Avoid illiquid or pump-dump tokens.

2. 🧠 Trend Confirmation (Follow the Flow)

We only trade in the direction of the trend.

Use 4H and 1D chart

Apply EMA 20/50:

EMA 20 above EMA 50 = uptrend

EMA 20 below EMA 50 = downtrend

Confirm with Volume Profile or OBV (On Balance Volume)

Only swing in the trend direction. Don't countertrade unless it's a setup with high RR and major support/resistance.

3. 🎯 Entry Criteria (Trigger the Trade)

Ideal Entry Triggers:

Bullish Pullback to EMA 20 or a key demand zone

Price Action Signals:

Bullish Engulfing

Pin Bar Reversal

Break and Retest of Resistance Turned Support

Additional Confluence:

RSI between 40–50 in uptrend (buy zone)

MACD bullish crossover

➡️ Entry = Break of candle high that confirms support

4. 🛑 Stop Loss Strategy

Place SL below last swing low in long trade (above swing high in short)

Risk per trade: 1–2% of capital

Avoid tight stops—give your swing trade space to breathe

5. 📈 Target Zones (Where to Exit)

Fibonacci Extensions (1.272 and 1.618)

Previous swing high/low

Daily chart supply zone

Trailing Stop Method once 2R is reached

Partial Booking at 1.5R – 2R and trail the rest.

📊 Real Example: SOL/$USDT Swing Setup

Trend: Uptrend (EMA 20 > EMA 50 on 1D)

Price pulls back to 20 EMA with a bullish engulfing candle

Entry at $156, SL at $148, Target 1 at $172, Target 2 at $185

R:R = 1:2.5$SOL

Booked 60% at $172, trailed rest to $180
