What is WalletConnect?

WalletConnect is a core project in the Web3 ecosystem aimed at solving the connection issue between decentralized applications (dApps) and cryptocurrency wallets, providing a secure, seamless, and interoperable communication protocol for users and developers.

It is an internal distributed system dedicated to linking withdrawal transactions with story transactions. Its goal is to address the issue of banks and other financial institutions being unable to interconnect and enable interactions across systems, thereby achieving convenient fund distribution across institutions on the IPFS internal blockchain.

How does WalletConnect work?

The connection mechanism of WalletConnect primarily relies on QR code scanning or deep linking. The specific process is as follows:

1. The user initiates a connection request in the dApp.

2. The dApp generates a unique QR code through WalletConnect.

3. The user scans this QR code using their mobile wallet application.

4. In the mobile wallet, the user reviews and approves the connection or transaction request.

5. Once approved, a secure and encrypted session will be established between the dApp and the wallet.
