Is AE ready to trade yet?
According to CEO Linda Yaccarino, X is about to integrate a range of financial features: trading, investing, the X Money e-wallet (in partnership with Visa), payment cards, and money transfers. This model is likened to a super app "all-in-one", inspired by China's WeChat.
However, many believe that jumping into the financial sector will expose X to a series of legal barriers: from anti-money laundering regulations to licensing requirements in each state and country.
