The countdown for altcoins has already begun.

Once the beautiful country's stock market is fully tokenized, compliant stocks will be able to circulate on-chain and be listed on exchanges. Those altcoins propped up by empty promises and storytelling will essentially be packing up and exiting the stage.

COIN is doing this, turning on-chain securities into the mainstream. Many recently IPO'd stocks have a market value of only tens of millions or a couple of hundred million, which for retail investors, is not much different from small-cap coins — but at least they are regulatory compliant and have real business.
