❗ Trump demands the passage of the GENIUS Act
Donald Trump has urged the House to approve the GENIUS Act as soon as possible, without changes or delays, to sign it by August.
The law requires the reservation of stablecoins in dollars or liquid assets, auditing issuers with a cap above $50 billion, and establishes rules for foreign stablecoin issuances.
However, the House is promoting an alternative STABLE Act, and its discussion may affect the final version of the law.
