Huawei stepped into the spotlight and declared: HarmonyOS is cooler than iOS and Android, and here's why.
At the conference, Huawei's consumer division head, Richard Yu, rolled out three trump cards for his OS:
📌 Maximum security.
HarmonyOS uses Star Shield Security — instead of full access to the gallery, third-party apps see only the photo you selected. After that, access is revoked. No leaked photos, no unnecessary digging into personal space.
📌 The ecosystem works like clockwork.
Smartphones, tablets, laptops, smart home, even cars — everything runs on HarmonyOS. Devices easily connect, transfer files, and understand each other without any hassle.
📌 Voice assistant Celia.
You can not only set an alarm or check the weather with your voice — Celia also plays well with the camera, takes photos, recognizes objects, and is just as good as Siri (and sometimes even better, to be honest).
The current lineup with the new OS - Huawei Pura 80 smartphones. So, if you are tired of the classics like Android and iOS, here comes an alternative, and judging by the ambitions, it's here to stay.
