The Senate passes the GENIUS Act, opening a new chapter in cryptocurrency regulation in the USA

On Tuesday the 17th, the Senate in Washington passed the cryptocurrency regulation bill — the GENIUS Act — with a bipartisan vote of 68–30. This marks the first official bipartisan proposal to establish federal rules for stablecoins in the digital currency economy.
