Every morning, I rush from Pudong to Hongkou,
The distance is 11 kilometers, and it should ideally be done within 40 minutes.
This morning, the Didi App showed 'expected commute time 35 minutes', and I just clicked to get in the car.
As a result, when I reached the Yan'an Elevated, a section ahead was directly paralyzed due to an accident,
The car didn't move, took 10 minutes to get through one traffic light, the driver was cursing.
I opened the app, and it was still saying:
'You are driving smoothly, estimated arrival time 08:47.'
But I know I've already messed up—my company's clock-in time is 08:45.
Didi's 'smart path' led me into a dead end. I clearly had time, but I was misled by false information.
🧩02|I casually opened CAILA, originally wanting to check if it would rain today
I registered for CAILA's Marco ID a few days ago,
I heard it not only checks the weather but also reminds you of travel risks based on your route.
So I casually typed:
'I’m traveling from Pudong ×× Road to Hongkou ×× Road, departing at 08:00, is there any risk?'
A few seconds later, it pushed this message:
'Current route Yan'an Elevated North Section traffic congestion index 3.7 (high risk),
Reason: Accident occurred at 07:32, estimated recovery time after 09:00,
Suggested detour: Zhongshan South Road — Luban Road — Guangzhong West Road, delay reduced by about 18 minutes.
Current area weather is normal, walking and public transport are risk-free.
I was so angry I started laughing.
The app tricked me into thinking the road was clear, while the AI reminded me, 'There’s a collapse ahead';
One wants me to get on the road to make money, while the other tells me where to avoid pitfalls;
One is a centralized profit-driven model, and the other is a blockchain agent that truly stands up for me.
🧠03|I began to seriously think: Why do I trust an AI but not an app?
It's not that I'm against technology, but:
• Didi just wants 'to get me in the car'
• Most maps only tell me 'how to go' but don't tell me 'how to avoid'
• All systems assume 'I am an optimizable profit point', not a 'person in need of help'
And CAILA never guides you to take a specific route, it only gives you 'data + risks + options'.
Its architecture makes me trust it:
CAILA is not about 'leading you where to go',
It is 'reminding you where the pitfalls are'.
This is the difference.
I'm not saying AI is omnipotent,
I just said: When other systems are serving KPIs,
There’s a blockchain AI quietly reminding me to avoid pitfalls.
You thought technology was getting smarter and smarter,
But many apps just end up 'earning money from your time'.
And CAILA, at least until now, is still using data to help you make judgments, rather than letting you be judged.
How many times have you been 'tricked by smart recommendations'?
Do you remember a time when a technology system completely disappointed you?
Would you also be willing to have an AI that is 'on your side'?
👇 Feel free to share your moments of being 'betrayed by algorithms', I'll like your saying 'I trusted wrongly'.
