Vietnam has taken a monumental step in cryptocurrency regulation, passing a landmark "Law on Digital Technology Industry" on June 14, 2025. This legislation, effective January 1, 2026, officially legalizes and classifies digital assets, including virtual and crypto assets, providing much-needed regulatory clarity.
