MetaPlant is preparing to launch stable digital currencies

Meta Platforms is in talks with several cryptocurrency companies to explore the possibility of launching stablecoins that can be used for payment transactions, according to a report published by Fortune magazine last Thursday, citing informed sources.

Meta had previously planned to launch a unified digital currency to be used across its Facebook, WhatsApp, and other digital platforms, but Meta had to abandon the project due to the tough stance of American lawmakers towards cryptocurrencies.

With the return of President Donald Trump to the White House, the demand for stable cryptocurrencies in the United States has increased, while the U.S. Congress is discussing two bills to regulate the use of these digital currencies, expected to be approved by 2025.

This move by "Meta" reflects the interest of major technology companies in entering the world of digital currencies and digital payments amid a changing regulatory environment in the United States.
