#MetaplanetBTCPurchase Metaplanet the Tokyo listed company aggressively building a massive Bitcoin treasury.

10,000 BTC now held Metaplanet just completed a 1,112 BTC purchase $117 million, bringing it's total Bitcoin holdings to 10,000 BTC, surpassing Coinbase's 9267 BTC.

Portfolio value = $1 billion, At current price ( $106- $107k per BTC), their treasury is worth roughly $1 billion.

These BTC purchase were funded via a $210 million zero interest bond issuance.

Targeting 100,000 BTC by end 2026 and 210000 by 2027, backed by a new plan to raise $5.4 billion through issuing 555 million shares.

Shares jumped 26% on the announcement, boosting market value $6.9 billion, overtaking chipmaker Kioxia.
