#MetaplanetBTCPurchase $BTC Investment products in cryptocurrencies continued their streak of capital inflows for several weeks, while Bitcoin traded near new highs and Ether briefly surpassed $2,800 for the first time since February.
Globally, cryptocurrency exchange-traded products (ETPs) recorded capital inflows worth $1.9 billion in the stock week that ended on Friday, raising the capital inflow streak to $12.9 billion over nine weeks, according to CoinShares on Monday.
With the new inflows, cryptocurrency ETPs set a historical record of inflows year-to-date (YTD) of $13.2 billion, wrote CoinShares' head of research, James Butterfill.
The total assets under management (AUM) in cryptocurrency ETPs rose to $179 billion from $175.9 billion last week.
