Well-known analyst and trader Peter Brandt predicts a significant drop in Bitcoin's price in 2025, despite the optimism prevalent among members of the crypto community.

Brandt drew an analogy between the current trend in BTC price changes and past situations, suggesting that a dump similar to the one that occurred in November 2021 may repeat this year. The chart published by the expert indicates that:

At the beginning of autumn 2025, the price of Bitcoin will drop below the support barrier of around $75,000;

Then, during a bearish trend that will be observed over the year, the cryptocurrency will drop by approximately 30% to $53,000, taking into account the volatility level differences.

Peter's colleague under the pseudonym AetherX Capital does not believe in an impending dump and thinks that digital asset holders have nothing to worry about for now. In his opinion, from a technical perspective, considering the fundamental factors related to BTC, the cryptocurrency is more stable than ever before.

Brandt countered this statement, reasonably noting: "Key indicators always perform best at peaks and show the worst picture at troughs. You should be aware of this."

Another commentator suggested that Bitcoin will not drop as much as it did in 2021 due to the increased cost of mining. However, Brandt does not take this factor into account, as it has little influence on the price of BTC, which is a commodity alongside gold.
