#PiNetwork

The auction is no longer inside the Pi Wallet – it now works as a separate Pi app. This change has made it possible to add new features, like a live stats page that shows:

Which domain names have the most bids

Which ones are selling for the highest prices

What’s currently popular

The design is also improved, and email alerts are coming soon.

More people are joining the auctions, but a lot of the bidding is being done by people trying to grab common or brand-like names just to resell them later for profit. This is called "domain squatting," and it’s a problem that also happened before with Web2 and Ethereum’s ENS. So, even though activity is growing, most domains are being bought for flipping — not for real use.
