Friends who often read my tweets know that I have been following the Aethir @AethirCloud project. It has been exactly one year since TGE last June!
I can only say that time flies. I have indeed seen that the team has made a lot of solid moves in the decentralized GPU cloud ecosystem. Today I want to talk to you about their Aethir Tribe community project and the key cooperation progress in this year, especially the linkage with EigenLayer. I think this part is worth talking about in detail. Let's take a look:
Let me first talk about Aethir Tribe. In fact, this project is essentially a three-in-one platform of "community + incentive + communication", which is especially like a micro KOL incubator in Web3. They want community users to become the main force of Aethir's publicity, whether it is writing educational and popular science posts, initiating topic discussions, or making meme pictures. This kind of down-to-earth content dissemination is actually quite in line with the tone of the current Web3 community.
Moreover, the project is not just empty talk, it is really supporting multi-platform creation. I heard that many community members have received incentives by producing content and have become "active communicators" in the ecosystem. This model seems to allow the original communication power to slowly settle down. By the way, friends who want to participate can follow @AethirMandarin, where the activity information of the Chinese community is updated. Recently, there is also a series of reviews of the first anniversary of TGE, which is quite lively.
The event will last for two weeks (June 12th to June 26th), and you can apply for it at: https://o527e4lvru7.typeform.com/AethirTribe?typeform-source=t.co…
If you want to know more details, you can read the Aethir Tribe white paper: https://docs.aethir.com/users-and-community/aethir-tribe-program…
Let me talk about one of the most attractive collaborations in this anniversary, which is the ATH Vault launched in collaboration with EigenLayer. This collaboration is not a simple resource docking, but a real technical integration. They have created a liquidity staking mechanism, where users can get eATH (EigenATH) by staking ATH. The key is that this staking pool is connected to EigenLayer's AVS system, which is equivalent to introducing new "fuel" to Aethir's computing nodes.
Now new computing providers (cloud hosts) can use ATH to access the ecosystem, while contributing to EigenLayer's re-staking ecosystem. This two-way empowerment design is quite clever. Moreover, holding eATH can also earn staking rewards. After expiration, eATH can be exchanged for ATH. The source of income is the computing service fee of the cloud host. This logic is very clear. For users, they can participate in the construction of the ecosystem and get actual returns. I personally think this is an important upgrade of Aethir's economic model.
In addition to EigenLayer, Aethir's ecosystem expansion has been rapid this year, which is obvious to all. The currency price has also been very stable. It has layouts in areas ranging from DeFi to on-chain ecology, to Web3 AI, and cloud games. It has also cooperated with TensorOpera to carry out LLM training, and worked with MetaGravity to do cloud games, and even has actions on Solana and Avalanche. The $100 million ecological fund is indeed supporting many AI projects.
However, for ordinary users, the Checker Node repurchase plan may be more intuitive. People who hold relevant NFTs can sell the nodes to the foundation in exchange for eATH and continue to earn rewards. This wave of operations is very helpful in improving community stickiness.
Finally, I want to say that it is not easy for Web3 projects to land so many collaborations within a year. Aethir has been relatively stable from technical architecture to ecological cooperation. Friends who want to know more details, in addition to following @AethirMandarin, can also join their TG Chinese community https://t.me/AethirCN, where developers and core users often talk about technical progress, and the atmosphere is quite good.
After all, in the field of decentralized computing, only by following and communicating more can you see the potential of the project clearly. Don’t you agree? I will continue to follow it myself, because I have been following the ATH project from last year to now, and it is also one of the few projects that has made me money from last year to now!
