📚 Crypto Glossary – Vol. 2
1️⃣ Staking = locking your crypto to support a network and earn interest (e.g., ETH 2.0)
2️⃣ Airdrop = free crypto distributed by a project, often to those who have performed certain actions (like using a platform)
3️⃣ Altcoin = all cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche…)
4️⃣ Gas fee = the “cost” to pay for making a transaction (especially on Ethereum)
5️⃣ Tokenomics = the economic rules of a token: how many exist, how they are distributed, who they go to
👉 Knowing the terms makes you less dependent on others and more solid when investing.
