However, escalating tensions between Israel and Iran negatively impacted risk assets, leading to a decline in the prices of both Bitcoin and Ethereum. Ethereum's price dropped below $2,800, falling to the psychological level of $2,500 — a notable deviation from its recent upward trend. According to historical data, if Ethereum maintains a position above the $2,500 support level, it could signal strength in price action. Crypto analyst "Rekt Capital" posted on social media platform X, highlighting that Ethereum has established the $2,500 level as a key support zone. Over the past five weeks, Ethereum has consistently held above this level. If this trend continues, a significant price increase toward the $4,000 mark is possible. Rekt Capital noted that this $2,500 support level has previously helped Ethereum rise to $4,000. In December 2024, Ethereum's price was close to $4,000 before experiencing a nearly 60% drop at the start of the year. A return to this level could signal the beginning of a much-anticipated "Altcoin Season." Currently, Ethereum is trading at around $2,577, reflecting a 3% drop over the last 24 hours.
