#IsraelIranConflict Israel launched the first strikes against Iran around 3:30 local time (midnight GMT) on the night of Friday, June 13. The main targets are nuclear facilities and Iranian military command.
"Strikes were carried out on key facilities of the Iranian nuclear program: the uranium enrichment center in Natanz, scientists working on building the Iranian bomb, and components of the ballistic missile program," said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in an address to the people of Israel.
A representative of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Efi Defrin reported that 200 Israeli fighter jets participated in the strikes, hitting over 100 targets in Iran and also using over 330 different munitions.
