$SHIB

Shytoshi Kusama – the lead developer of SHIB, along with technical partner Kaal Dhairya and marketing head Lucie, just announced the deployment of Shiba Alpha Layer, marking an important transformation: SHIB is no longer just a 'meme coin'. In a post on X, Lucie called this 'The infrastructure for the next wave of Web3.'

Shiba Alpha Layer: Layer 3 solution officially launches beta version

According to the article shared by Lucie, Shiba Alpha Layer is a modular rollup abstraction stack, developed by the SHIB team in collaboration with ElderLabs and linked to the Shibarium ecosystem. This platform provides:

  • FHE (Fully Homomorphic Encryption) security options,

  • Seamless user experience for all RollApp,

  • Flexible gas fee payments, not only in BONE token but also in SHIB, other tokens, and stablecoins like USDT, USDC.

In addition, native interoperability and instant asset bridging features will also be implemented in the near future.

In the post, the team asserts: “No capital from the investment fund. No empty promises. Only the source code.”

The goal of Shiba Alpha Layer is to turn Shibarium into a Layer 3 settlement layer, providing shared security and real utility for the SHIB token across all RollApp.

The end of the meme era

After two weeks of silence on social media, Shytoshi Kusama has returned and emphasized a post from Kaal Dhairya – the lead developer of SHIB, asserting: “Shiba Inu is no longer a meme coin. The meme era ends here.”

Shytoshi also revealed that he will soon announce a white paper on AI, highlighting SHIB's strategy regarding artificial intelligence.
