💥 A night of fire in Tel Aviv... Iran rains more than 100 missiles on Israel in the most violent attack in decades?
Hours before midnight, the sounds of explosions swept the skies of Tel Aviv.
More than 100 Iranian missiles were launched simultaneously, targeting deep inside Israel, in the first direct attack of its kind by Tehran on Israel since the founding of the Islamic Republic.
Sirens wailed nonstop, shelters filled, and smoke rose from entire neighborhoods in Tel Aviv, Ashdod, and Beersheba.
🎯 Details of the strike
The attack came less than 18 hours after an Israeli airstrike targeted Iranian nuclear facilities and military sites early Friday morning, killing senior generals in Iran's Revolutionary Guard.
According to Israeli military sources, the missiles were launched from bases inside Iran and included medium-range ballistic missiles and attack drones.
The Iron Dome operated at full capacity, but rocket fragments fell on residential areas, causing destruction and fires in several buildings.
🏥 The tally so far:
At least 35 injured, including critical cases.
Direct damage to residential buildings and public facilities.
Fires broke out in northern Tel Aviv and some of its suburbs.
Flights temporarily suspended at Ben Gurion Airport.
Tehran: "We have begun... and we will not retreat."
Iranian media described the attack as a "legitimate response to Israeli aggression" targeting sensitive facilities inside Iran.
The Revolutionary Guards declared the operation "the first part of a series of responses," stressing that "Tel Aviv will not be safe after tonight."
Covert American intervention?
The Israeli Ministry of Defense hinted at a "US role" in supporting the air defense system and confirmed that coordination with the Pentagon is ongoing to repel any additional waves of attacks.
US RC-135 spy planes were seen flying over the Mediterranean, indicating direct intelligence involvement in managing the situation.
🧨 Israel threatens a "painful response"
The Israeli army spokesman said in an urgent statement:
"The attack did not surprise us. We have clear orders to respond to every missile fired. This night will not pass without accountability."
Hebrew newspapers reported the possibility of precision strikes against targets deep inside Iran in the coming hours, and noted that the Israeli War Council is in permanent session.
📸 The view from the field:
Reporters described the city as being "paralyzed" for minutes as smoke filled the Tel Aviv sky.
Ambulances and fire trucks in all directions
Panic among residents, especially in the north of the city.
Social media sites were ablaze with the hashtag #Tel_Aviv_is_burning, which topped Twitter within minutes.
