$NXPC Let's organize the events of the past two days regarding the nxpc incident, providing everyone with some insights. This is just a personal opinion, for reference only.

The incident began with a tweet from the official Nexpace account announcing the withdrawal from Pancakeswap, which led to widespread dissemination of incorrect timings and misunderstandings about the event. By 4 PM that day, I had a vague sense that something was off (see image 1), and sure enough, minutes later, coinciding with the news of Tencent acquiring Nexon, nxpc began to surge.

Subsequently, I searched across the internet, and based on the information I could find, the earliest news did not come out at 4 PM Beijing time, but rather at 3 AM (see image 2). Based on this, I speculated (see image 3) that this time it might have been a deliberate move by the major player to manipulate the news and thereby drive up the coin price.

At 5:51 PM today, through analyzing in-game outputs, I speculated that the major player’s actions this time were intentional and that it was also a gamble. The specific reason is that I discovered the major player had locked in-game gold output today; they wanted to raise the currency but did not want players to sell nxpc and cut them off. This move was truly brilliant.

Two minutes later, Tencent issued a denial, and the coin price plummeted, marking the end of the incident.

To summarize, this was a premeditated price surge, creating hype through news manipulation and locking in-game outputs to prevent currency sell-off, perfectly achieving its goal. It remains uncertain whether Nexon completely withdrew safely before Tencent's denial; if not, similar incidents are bound to occur in the future. Personally, I am a long-time player of MapleStory and, being familiar with Nexon's nature, I have been continuously bearish on nxpc. This incident was perfectly predicted (consistent with my stereotype of Nexon), but there is still much room for improvement in terms of execution. I hope to continually refine my skills in the future and grow together with everyone.
