“Why use SLHV? If you enter a trade and just use SLHV, what's the point?” - Is SLHV really necessary?
Surely those who have been following Trading Insight for a long time know that almost 100% of trades or trading signals have SLHV, which means 'Stop-loss at breakeven or Stop-loss entry' or 'Move SL to entry or Pull SL Entry'.
🔹After several years of trading, I find SLHV quite important. How important? Let's discuss the pros and cons together!
🔸Advantages: After achieving a profit level (meeting the conditions), we start to set up SLHV
- Trading psychology will be more stable, reducing pressure on holding positions. Because there will only be breakeven or profitable trades, not losses.
- It limits the impact of rapid and strong market fluctuations, preventing unwanted SL hits.
- It's easier to 'HOLD PROFITS' and the profit margin will always be positive and much better.
- You can leisurely leave your orders to enjoy life without needing to open charts and check them constantly. (This is a situation many people encounter.)
🔸Disadvantages:
- Easy to get swept and trigger the breakeven Stop-loss (SLHV) too early.
- It may cause missed opportunities with high profit signals.
- Transaction fees (which are not significant compared to getting hit by SL, and why worry when the team provides back fees for you?)
🔹SLHV is also considered a method, a trading style. Some people find it suitable, others do not. But overall, this is a style that leans towards safety. It minimizes risk to the maximum extent.
If you worry about fees... what’s there to be afraid of? The team has back fees for you, right? 😛.
📌Everyone has different perspectives. For me, I always set SLHV for 100% of trades when conditions are met. Keeping money is essential. I'd like to hear everyone's opinions on this issue.
