Last night, Israel launched a massive strike on Iranian territory. One of the targets of the IDF was a nuclear facility in Natanz. As a result, at least six Iranian nuclear scientists were killed, reports the Nour News agency.
"Abdolhamid Minouchehr, Ahmadreza Zulfikari, Amirhossein Fakhih, Matlabizadeh, Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi, and Fereydoun Abbasi were killed," the agency clarified. Their names will be added to the list of Iran's 'scientific martyrs'. Israeli strikes will be seen as an attempt to halt the country's scientific and technological progress, according to the Nour News report.
The air operation by Israel began around 3:00 AM Moscow time. In addition to Iranian scientists, the casualties included IRGC commander Hossein Salami and Chief of Staff Mohammad Bagheri. Among the civilian population, according to ISNA, 1 person was killed and another 24 were injured.
