#IsraelIranConflict The second wave of Israeli attacks focuses on western Iran, reported the Israeli Army Radio. Explosions were reported in the city of Piranshahr, in northwestern Iran, near the border with Iraq.

For its part, the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) confirmed that the commander-in-chief of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Major General Hossein Salami, was killed in an Israeli attack that caused a fire at the institution's headquarters.

The report provided few other details about what happened to General Hossein Salami, and also added that there are fears that another senior Revolutionary Guard official, General Gholamali Rashid, as well as two nuclear scientists Dr. Tehranchi and Fereydoon Abbasi, may also be dead.
