Israel launched large-scale strikes on Iran: SEPAH's chief

This night, the Israel Air Force has carried out large-scale air strikes on Iranian territory.

According to reports, among the main targets of the attack were military headquarters, strategic facilities, and the Natanz nuclear complex. Israel's Defense Minister Israel Katz referred to the operation as a 'preventive strike' and warned the country's population about a possible retaliatory attack from Iran. Air strike alerts were heard in central regions of Israel, urgent instructions were sent to the population, and a state of emergency was declared.

As a result of these attacks carried out by Israel, the commander of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (SEPAH), Major General Hossein Salami, has been killed. The first report on this was released by Iran's 'Mehr' agency and later confirmed by state television.

During the attack, the commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters, Major General Gholamali Rashid, was also killed. The strikes were directed at nuclear facilities in Natanz, resulting in the deaths of three nuclear scientists, including Fereydoun Abbasi-Davani and Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi.

Explosions were heard in Tehran and other cities, and Iran's air defense systems were activated. Iran has partially closed its airspace, and emergency security measures have been implemented within the country.

The situation is currently extremely tense, and further steps are expected from both sides. The international community has expressed concern over the potential escalation in the region.
