#TrumpTariffs The President of the United States, Donald Trump, declared on Wednesday that his government will inform its trading partners "in a week and a half, two weeks" about unilateral tariffs, before the deadline of July 9 when his "reciprocal" tariffs come into effect.
"We are going to send letters in about a week and a half, two weeks, to the countries, telling them what the deal is. At some point, we will just send letters. And I think they will understand, telling them 'this is the deal, you can take it or leave it. You don't have to use it. You don't have to buy in the United States, as I said before,'" he declared to the press from the Kennedy Center in Washington, where he attended a show.
