🇺🇸 President Trump stated that he will send letters to trade partners in about two weeks to inform them that the U.S. will impose unilateral tariffs if an agreement is not reached. He asserted that there is no need to extend the negotiation deadline as a 'great deal' has already been achieved with China and the UK.

President Trump said: 'We will send a letter stating this is the deal – accept it if you want, otherwise, that's it.' He also emphasized that it is impossible to negotiate with more than 150 countries and is currently focusing only on about 15 countries, including Japan and South Korea.

His remarks come as the 90-day grace period for imposing tariffs has already passed about 60 days.

Meanwhile, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent mentioned that the Trump administration may extend the deadline after July 9 for key partners such as the EU if they continue to negotiate in good faith.
