#TrumpTariffs #TrumpTariffs It is known that tariffs are a double-edged sword. Trump's move to increase tariffs mainly targets China; therefore, European countries, Canada, and Mexico have had tariffs raised by 25%. He then increased them for economic purposes, and after some countries complied, he suspended the new tariffs for some countries for a period of time, while others were reduced. However, China increased the tariff values and then raised them a second and third time. This is because he knows that America is a large consumer market, and he aims to force American companies that closed their factories in America and opened in China to return. He understands that they are business people and they fear a decline in their sales rates, knowing that this increase will burden the American citizen. However, he sees it as a matter of time for these companies to fully or partially comply with the return because their exit from the American economy adds to the fact that they are a massive economic force, for example, but not limited to (Apple, Microsoft - and major companies in aluminum production - and others in iron smelting and rolling) #TrumpTariffs
