Solayer Infinite Hardware Acceleration with InfiniSVM: An Innovative Solution Achieving Breakthroughs of Millions of TPS
InfiniSVM is based on the core concept that "software alone cannot meet the future on-chain financial transaction processing needs." Through hardware offloading architecture reconstruction, core components such as blockchain transaction verification and storage are transferred to dedicated hardware execution, effectively solving resource consumption issues such as signature verification.
On the technical level, InfiniSVM integrates multiple cutting-edge technologies: using InfiniBand and RDMA technology to achieve ultra-fast data transmission and microsecond-level communication between nodes, meeting the required network throughput of 80 - 100 Gbps for over 1 million TPS; leveraging Software-Defined Networking (SDN) to optimize traffic and transaction routing, combined with a multi-executor parallel processing architecture for flexible network performance expansion.
In terms of consensus mechanisms, the innovative PoAS (Proof of Authority + Proof of Stake) model quickly aggregates transactions through super leaders and decentralizes verification through provers, breaking through the bottleneck of traditional PoS in high TPS environments. In terms of user experience, it supports direct interaction with existing Solana wallets without the need to switch networks or additional signatures, providing a "single chain experience."
Currently, the InfiniSVM internal development network has achieved over 340,000 TPS, the core pipeline has completed hardware offloading, and it is officially launched at the New York SVM Summit 2025 on May 21, 2025.
