The news that shakes these parts of the world! They reaffirm the conviction of the former president for acts of corruption during her terms!

The former president was convicted in the so-called "Vialidad case," in which she was accused of having directed public works in the Patagonian province of Santa Cruz, the stronghold of the Kirchners, where her late husband, Néstor Kirchner, governed for more than a decade before becoming president and where she still maintains her residence.

According to the Prosecutor's Office, days before he took office as head of state in 2003, the Kirchners created a construction company called Austral Construcciones, to which they later awarded most of the public works carried out in Santa Cruz.

During the 12 years that the Kirchners governed the country, Austral Construcciones received bids to build 51 projects, 79% of the works in that Patagonian province.
