**Ethereum Foundation is involved in new drama**
Péter Szilágyi – the head of the Geth development team (the main Execution Client software of ETH) accused the Ethereum Foundation (EF) of having proposed three times to separate Geth into an independent company, along with a $5M grant, but he refused. Subsequently, they secretly funded a "second Geth team" at Nethermind - another client led by EF co-director Tomasz Stańczak.
Szilágyi also accused Tomasz of quietly undermining Geth by reaching out to Geth members, advising them to leave their jobs, and pressuring them with salary cuts.
The incident has caused a stir among the community, with many supporting Szilágyi, calling for EF to be more transparent and fair in resource allocation. Others believe that Szilágyi is merely trying to create unnecessary drama.
