Current Tariff Actions by Trump (2025)

Across-the-Board 10% Tariff: Trump introduced a universal 10% tariff on virtually all imported goods starting in April 2025, part of what he called "Liberation Day" economic measures.

Country-Specific Tariffs:

China: Tariffs up to 145% on certain Chinese goods, citing unfair trade practices and national security concerns.

Canada & Mexico: A new 25% tariff on general imports, with 10% on energy products. Some exemptions exist for USMCA-compliant goods.

EU & UK: Negotiations ongoing; Trump threatened tariffs but held off pending trade talks.
