Latest developments 2025 after recent agreements with China and the new framework with China in 2025 after approving the recent amendments and agreements between the two countries under the following points:

• The United States imposed an overall tariff on Chinese imports of 55% including:

• 10% basic.

• 20% criminal message (fentanyl).

• 25% of the previous adjusted tariffs.

• In return, the Chinese side maintained a 10% tariff on American imports.

The impact of tariffs on traders and consumers.

• According to an analyst from Bank of America, traders can bear tariffs up to 10% but exceeding that requires them to use or raise prices which may affect consumers, especially in the fashion and non-essential goods sector.

• That pressure on traders (especially discount retailers) leads to price movement as well as adjustments to logistics regulations and products to compress costs on countries.
