#TradingPairs101 Trading pairs are fundamental to cryptocurrency exchanges. A trading pair consists of two different assets that can be traded for one another, such as BTC/ETH or USDT/ADA. The first currency in the pair is the base currency, and the second is the quote currency. For example, in the BTC/USDT pair, you are buying or selling Bitcoin (BTC) priced in Tether (USDT). Trading pairs allow users to compare the relative value of cryptocurrencies and facilitate direct exchanges between different assets. There are fiat-crypto pairs (like BTC/USD) and crypto-crypto pairs (like ETH/BTC).
