đ A Crypto Mistake I Made (So You Donât Have To)
When I first got into crypto, I made a mistake that cost me time, peace of mindâand almost money.
đ„ I sent Bitcoin to the wrong wallet network.
I was withdrawing BTC from Binance and accidentally chose BSC (Binance Smart Chain) instead of BTC network. The transaction was fast, but... the BTC was stuck.
Hereâs what I learned the hard way:
â Always triple-check:
đȘ The coin
đ The network
đŻ The receiving wallet address
If they donât match, your crypto can be lost forever.
đ How I got it back:
Luckily, I was sending to my own Trust Wallet, which supports BSC. I had to:
Add BTC as a custom token
Find the right contract address
Learn about wrapped BTC
It was stressful. But I learned a valuable lesson.
đĄ My advice:
đ Donât rush. Read everything twice before clicking âSend.â
Crypto isnât hardâyou just need to stay alert.
