Just starting in crypto? Perfect. But before diving in headfirst, take 3 minutes to discover the 5 mistakes that cost almost all newcomers money (and motivation). Spoiler: you can easily avoid them.
đ„Ž 1. Buying without understanding what it is
Many buy a crypto 'because a friend said so' or 'because it's going up fast'. Bad instinct. You need to know what you're buying, why, and what the project does.
đ Ask yourself 3 questions: What is the use? Who is the team? What is the tokenomics?
đ± 2. Jumping in during full FOMO
You see a token up +80%, you want to 'not miss the train'? You probably just bought... the peak.
đ§ Golden rule: when everyone is buying, you observe. When everyone is afraid, that's when you act.
đ° 3. All-in on a single project
Putting 100% of your capital on a single token (often a meme coin or a current hype) is a direct ticket to stress... or ruin.
đĄ Diversify: a bit of BTC/ETH, a bit of stablecoins, a bit of potential projects, and keep a reserve.
đ€ 4. Letting your cryptos sleep on an exchange
An exchange can have a technical problem, be hacked, or block withdrawals. If you plan to hold your cryptos long-term: transfer them to a personal wallet (non-custodial).
đ 'Not your keys, not your coins': if you do not control the keys, you own nothing.
đ 5. Selling too quickly or too late (without a plan)
The worst? Buy at the top, sell at -40% in panic. Or hold too long without a goal.
â Make a plan before buying: at what price do you exit with profits? At what level do you cut a loss?
â
In summary: Good beginners are not those who 'win quickly'... but those who do not burn their capital.
Want to last in crypto? Avoid these 5 traps, learn at your own pace, and above all... stay humble in front of the market.
