That line came after nearly a week of public attacks between the two men that began with Elon claiming that Trump appeared in the Jeffrey Epstein files and ended with threats from the White House.

The comments Elon referred to were two deleted posts from that week. In the first, he claimed that Trump was part of Epstein's sealed documents. In the second, he wrote that Trump would have no chance of reelection if it weren't for his support.
