Large demonstrations against Donald Trump are expected in the United States. In Los Angeles, 4,800 National Guard and Marine Corps personnel are deployed, while 2,500 troops are stationed in Iraq and 1,500 in Syria. Yesterday, the Governor of California filed a lawsuit to "immediately" stop the "militarization of Los Angeles".
A protest event called "No King" is planned in over 1,800 locations across the country. Protests will take place alongside a military parade that Trump intends to hold in Washington on June 14, coinciding with his birthday.
