🇰🇪 The Kenyan fintech project AfriBit Africa has implemented BTC payments in one of the poorest regions of the country — the Kibera area. Bitcoin provides financial inclusivity for people who lack access to banking services.

They note that bitcoin is a "more profitable" means of payment than the popular electronic money service M-PESA in Kenya.

According to the project's estimates, about $10,000 has been invested in the community. It is reported that many locals live on $1 a day, so even such comparatively small support makes a difference.

What is the minimum you need per day?
